You surely already know that the automobile was invented 120 years ago in Baden-Württemberg. Carl Benz was born in Karlsruhe, as was Baron Karl von Drais, who invented the bicycle. Thus, personal mobility is inseparable from the Black Forest, which includes the e-bike of today. Holidaymakers in the Black Forest Highlands can benefit from more than 260 hosts with the Hochschwarzwald- Card, such as free use of E-Smart and e-bikes for excursions.
