The Freiburger Münstermarkt takes place every weekday directly in front of the cathedral. On the north side of the cathedral, you will find the famous Freiburg sausage stalls. Be sure not to miss the "Lange Rote" (long red sausage) with or without onions. Quite simply, it is a key part of any visit to the market.
Whether it's a journey back in time to Freiburg's founding history, a walk through the lush greenery, or a cool drink in the beer garden overlooking the rooftops of the city - the Schlossberg (Castle Mountain) is always worth a visit.
The Alte Wache is located at the eastern side of Freiburg's Münsterplatz and offers countless wine experiences in addition to a glass of wine from the large wine selection available on the vine terrace.
