The morning

Heaven is on the way

Bad Dürrheim's highest region, Öfingen, is known as the "sunny village of the Baar". This is where the "Himmelberg Runde" (sky mountain tour) hiking trail begins. Enjoy breathtaking views over the Baar to Feldberg, and on a clear day, even the Swiss Alps. Combine this with nature-orientated routes on the 10km-long hiking trail. The climb to the summit of the Himmelberg (941m) has an equally spectacular view, with resting benches along the way inviting you to pause and soak in the scenery. A perfect start to the day.

Continue with lunch at the Kurhaus in Bad Dürrheim's Kurpark, a popular meeting spot for holidaymakers, spa guests, and locals. When the weather is nice, the sun terrace offers a peaceful spot to enjoy the well-maintained spa park landscape.
