The morning

Heaven is on the way

Bad Dürrheim's highest region, Öfingen, is known as the "sunny village of the Baar". The "Himmelberg Runde" (sky mountain tour) hiking trail starts here. Enjoy heavenly views over the Baar to Feldberg and, on a clear day, the Swiss Alps. Combine this with nature-orientated routes on the 10km-long hiking trail. The climb to the summit of the Himmelberg (941m) has an equally impressive view, with resting benches which invite you to linger. A perfect start to the day.

The day continues with lunch at the Kurhaus in Bad Dürrheim's Kurpark - a meeting spot for holidaymakers, spa guests, and locals. When the weather is nice, the sun terrace is perfect to enjoy the peaceful, well-maintained landscape of the spa park.
