On the western edge of the Black Forest, world-famous wines come to life in Baden wine country. Cherry torte and ham are known worldwide. Our beers, fine brandies, and mineral waters are also known far outside the region. More than 400 restaurants, inns, and chefs are awarded stars, toques, diamonds, points, and chef's spoons by gourmet guides each year. Even our star chefs rely on Baden-Swabian-Alsatian cuisine with the finest ingredients from the region.
