Start Langenbrand, parking lot at the community center.
We start in Langenbrand at the community center and turn right onto the Weinsträßle after the campsite. At the Kübeleswiesen signpost, we stay right again towards Höfen and, following the Forellenbach, reach the Förteltal barbecue area in Höfen. The return path leads us up the opposite slope to a shelter. On the way back via the scatter path, impressive views and the Felsenmeer await.
The huts are not serviced!

In summer, you can refresh yourself at the Höfen outdoor swimming pool halfway through the route.

Safety information
In the forest, always expect forest-typical hazards such as uneven ground surfaces, roots, broken branches, etc. When hiking, especially on paths and in steep terrain, watch the ground and place one foot consciously in front of the other. Hiking poles are recommended for hikes with large altitude differences. Closed paths and forest areas must not be entered! Respect the habitats of wildlife and stay on the trails.
