Climb a tree house, build a dam
The adventure trail leads up the Kreuzberg, Hausach's local mountain, and to the 800-year-old Husen castle ruins with wonderful views of the town and the Kinzig valley. The adventure trail encourages running, hopping, balancing, jumping, crawling and crawling.
Children can let off steam and show off their skillsat the various stations . There is a palisade run and earth tunnel, an Indian ladder, water games by the stream, a tree house or the popular colourful snake for balancing. And who can throw the cone the furthest with the cone sling ?
The Junges Hausach group only used natural materials for the stations: Wood, sand, gravel.
Here's the start
The adventure trailstarts at the water treading facility at the end of the Kreuzbergweg in a small side valley of Hausach. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the town centre or you can drive to the water treading facility. The adventure trail is always freely accessible and there is no entrance fee.
From there, the adventure trail leads past the water reservoir on the left and on to a barbecue hut. Ideal for a snack break. From there, follow the wide path to the signpost "Sägebeckweg" or cross with seating. The trail descends over a small "hill" to the castle and finally back to the water treading facility. The path is not suitable for pushchairs.
