A very impressive hike, especially during the cherry blossom season in spring, as it leads through the centre of the "Baden fruit paradise" and through the vineyards with magnificent views.

The long circular route first leads through numerous orchards on the plain of Achern to the three-cherry village of Mösbach. There are several places to stop for refreshments in Mösbach and numerous fruit growers who sell their produce directly from the farm. Every year in April, the village of Mösbach celebrates its "cherry blossom magic", a festival where everything revolves around the red fruit for a whole day. www.kirschbluetenzauber.de
The hike offers marvellous views of the Hornisgrinde. As you continue, you will be rewarded with views of the vineyards on the Bienenberg - and once you have climbed it - with marvellous views of the Achertal valley and the Rhine plain as far as Alsace.
