The Agatha Chapel with its beautiful onion dome is one of the most remarkable chapels in the district of Rottweil. It was donated by farmers from Hochmössingen in 1480. During sieges by the Swedes in the Thirty Years' War, the chapel was destroyed in 1634 and resembled a pile of stones. It was not rebuilt until 1697.
The old village lime tree in front of Agatha Chapel is a natural monument of unique beauty. Experts estimate the age of this summer lime tree to be between 800 and 1000 years old. The trunk of this lime tree, popularly known as the "Käpelleslinde", is completely hollow and can be easily accessed through an entrance. The inside of this enormous giant tree can accommodate an entire school class.
