In Fischweier, a stop at the snack bar by the parking lot offers a chance to recharge, either on the way there or back. In Marxzell, a visit to the technology museum, fully dedicated to the theme of "mobility," is also worthwhile. The monastery ruins in Frauenalb and Herrenalb are worth visiting. In Bad Herrenalb, there are also numerous options for dining.

Description of the route
0 km Starting point Bad Herrenalb train station.
Past the “Siebentäler-Therme” thermal bath through the Schweizerwiese towards Kullenmühle. Follow the road.
1.5 km Turn right 50 meters after the town exit onto the monastery path.
From here, the Alb Valley cycle path initially follows the partly asphalted, partly gravel Graf-Rhena-Weg along the left side of the Alb River.
4.0 km Turn left here – but first, a stop at the impressive monastery ruins in Frauenalb is recommended – then turn right after 50 meters and follow the climb for 200 meters – then turn right and continue following the Alb Valley cycle path to Marxzell.
7.2 km Onto the road and after 200 meters turn left and continue on the cycle path.
10.7 km In Fischweiher, turn left onto the road, go uphill for 30 meters, then turn right. After 200 meters – after the bridge, turn right and continue on the Alb Valley cycle path towards Ettlingen.
14.2 km Follow the road for 250 meters, then continue straight again on the cycle path.
17.0 km Follow the right path. After 200 meters, cross the railway tracks and continue along the right side of the Alb Valley railway.
18.4 km At the outdoor pool, take the road and continue straight into the center of Ettlingen. Stage destination: Ettlingen old town and Ettlingen castle. Numerous cafés, restaurants, and sights invite you to linger here.
After this, return towards Bad Herrenalb – initially the same way back – keep left at the outdoor pool and follow the Alb Valley cycle path again.
24.4 km Here we leave the known route and follow the road towards Etzenrot-Neurot. After 600 meters at the end of the street turn right and cross the street at the traffic lights. After 80 meters turn right and follow the cycle path. After 150 meters at

29.6 km keep right and after 200 meters cross the road again and continue on the cycle path.
31.5 km If you want to make a stop, the vehicle museum in Marxzell is recommended here! After 120 meters turn left towards Schielberg – after 80 meters turn right and continue on the cycle path.
34.4 km cross the road and follow the cycle path back to Bad Herrenalb.
38.2 km Entrance to Bad Herrenalb at the roundabout towards the town center – after 200 meters turn right and follow the path through Schweizerwiese.
39.0 km At the end of the path turn right into Bahnhofstraße and go straight to the starting point Bad Herrenalb train station.
