The route starts in Malsch on Bruchweg towards Waldprechtsweier. Soon you reach the idyllic Waldprechtstal, whose landscape beauty more than justifies the small detour. Then the route leads steadily uphill on well-maintained gravel roads, where with every meter in altitude you can enjoy new, impressive views – a rewarding compensation for the effort of the climb. The route then reaches the height near Völkersbach in a harmonious and varied course. Next, it continues to the Rimmelsbacher Hof, where a short break is recommended. Afterward, the descent begins towards Oberweier, offering spectacular views of the Rhine Valley again and again. Upon reaching Oberweier, the route continues via Sulzbach back to Malsch. The last section is a relaxed roll-out, where you can calmly enjoy the impressions of the varied route once more.

Wegbeschreibung
We leave Malsch via Bruchweg and cycle to Waldprechtsweier. The extraordinarily beautiful Walpertstal is worth the detour before we gain more and more altitude on good gravel roads. The views are a reward for the effort of the ascent. Skillfully routed, we reach the height around Völkersbach. Here we connect to the routes from Ettlingen and Marxzell. Passing the Rimmelsbacher Hof, we reach the descent to Oberweier. The views into the Rhine Valley on this descent are a real highlight, and a photo stop is definitely worthwhile. We reach Oberweier, turn left, continue via Sulzbach, and back to the starting point in Malsch. The rest is a comfortable roll-out and anticipation for more routes in the Alb Valley.
