Bacherlebnispfad Iselshausen

The Steinach becomes a real experience here. You can hear the rushing water everywhere, seating stones invite you to linger and those who want to can cross the stream on large stepping stones or cool their feet in the water. Nature and water can be experienced up close here.

The stream adventure trail is divided into around 20 stations, where information boards provide information about landscape ecology, flora and fauna and the rich wildlife in the area.

Other special features include the springs at the start of the trail, whose water is channelled to a former mill canal via newly constructed cascades. A section of this historic canal has been uncovered. A water wheel is a reminder of the long mill tradition in Iselshausen.

The path is not suitable for pushchairs.
