From Bad Krozingen, the route leads directly through Staufen into the Münstertal valley. Gentle climbs lead to the real test of endurance, the "Wiedener". However, a steady seven kilometres are pleasant to ride. This is followed by a descent of around ten kilometres, some of which offers a view of the Alps. Once at the bottom, the route leads to Schönau and Böllen, where a climb with a gradient of up to 15% awaits. This is followed by a regular uphill and downhill section to Neuenweg at a lofty altitude of around 1050 metres. The high-speed descent leads via Sirnitz to Britzingen and via Heitersheim back to Bad Krozingen.
