Basic information about us
Badische Lösung Liqueur & CIDER is a young distillery from Horben near Freiburg. Our brand name "Badische Lösung" stands for the Baden art of living of southern German diplomacy in which one finds miraculous ways from dissent to consensus. Regionality and sustainability are our guiding principles in every step of the production of our products:
All our products are purely organic, unfiltered and come from apples directly from the region . Our CIDER is produced in cooperation with regional producers. Pure, unfiltered fruit brandies and the best naturally cloudy apple juice from our own farm with orchards in Freiburg/Horben.

About the apple liqueur 25% vol. (For parties or as an aperitif, gift, souvenir, etc.)
The basis for our apple liqueur is a customised blend of high-quality, home-distilled, single-variety apple distillates from Baden orchards (e.g. Boskoop, Golden Delicious, etc.). The liqueur is then based on this. Flavour: Sparkling, musty, palatable, pleasantly sweet. The finished liqueur is unflavoured, natural and contains only natural, organic ingredients and raw materials. Always shake well before opening and then enjoy on its own.
About the walnut liqueur 20% vol. (digestif, cosy treat, gift, souvenir)
The basis for our walnut liqueur is a customised blend of high-quality, home-distilled, single-variety apple distillates from Baden orchards (e.g. Boskoop, Golden Delicious, etc.). The green walnuts are harvested on St John's Day (23 June) and macerated for two years in apple schnapps, on which the liqueur is based. Flavour: Mild, aromatic, elegant, long on the palate. Always shake well before opening and then enjoy neat.
About CIDER 4% vol. (summery, refreshing, alternative to beer)
Our CIDER was developed as a high-quality apple beer or cider. It consists of cider made from Baden apples mixed with naturally cloudy apple juice and carbon dioxide.
Our Baden solution CIDER is unfiltered and therefore tastes particularly natural, drinkable, beery and refreshing. It is also ideal as a filler for cocktails or mixed drinks, such as Apple Cider Mojito (see Badische Lösung homepage for recipe).
