Badischer Weinradweg - Variante zu Etappe 2 über Waldkirch-Buchholz

From Schallstadt, the route leads cyclists through St. Georgen, a district characterised by wine, to Freiburg's old town, where they can enjoy a particularly good meal at the Münsterplatz in the Alte Wache (wine shop).

Refreshed, the route heads north through the Glottertal valley to the wine-growing village of Buchholz. Near Sexau, you can take a look at the impressive Hochburg ruins before continuing towards Emmendingen's old town centre. The route then continues to Riegel am Kaiserstuhl.
