The viewing platform, made of Douglas fir wood, was opened in August 2013. Situated approximately 10 metres above the forest floor, it provides a wonderful view over the Ellbachsee and the surrounding landscape.
During the winter months, the viewing platform at the Ellbachseeblick is closed for safety reasons.
