The barefoot park in Dornstetten-Hallwangen in the northern Black Forest is all about walking over hill and dale without shoes.
From May to October, you can experience that special tingling sensation when you simply take off your shoes and let the soles of your feet feel a variety of surfaces and materials.
Innovative play equipment and surfaces provide lots of fun and sensory experiences. The water adventure playground is the entrance to the park area and with its giant stilts, balancing feet and an imaginative water play area, it is a special experience for children. A trampoline, climbing pyramid and fountain bouncers invite you to linger.
But the adventure park for the whole family is not just about the play area. Nature and health are combined on the 2.4 kilometre long circular trail. In addition to the tried and tested basic materials such as bark mulch, grass, clay and various types of rock, there are also pools with rounded glass shards, marble pebbles and many other surfaces.
The foot reflexology massage stimulates the entire organism and activates the body's defences. In the beautiful woodland area of the Barefoot Park, you can listen to the sounds of the forest and experience nature in a new way.
The park is complemented by a beautiful forest barbecue area. However, you should bring your own charcoal. A barbecue with grill, seating and a shelter are available.
The park is not suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Dogs are not allowed!
Various group tours can be booked at the tourist information centre.
