The museum provides an insight into everyday rural farming life in the Upper Neckar region up to the middle of the 20th century.
The documentation focusses on rural crafts and work in the fields from sowing to harvesting. The museum is also dedicated to rural living and clothing production. The social and political structures of the village are illustrated in the exhibition. It also focuses on the agricultural associations and schools.
The exhibition area covers around 400 square metres on two levels. Thanks to many donors, the museum collection has been considerably enlarged.
