From the glass-blowing and rafting town of Wolfach, the route covers around 59 kilometres and 1970 metres in altitude to the clock-making town of Triberg.
The route begins with a climb from Wolfach to Auf der Grub. Here you are rewarded for your efforts with a beautiful view. The route continues through woods and meadows towards Schramberg. A detour to the Hohenschramberg ruins offers a good view of the valley town.
The route then leads through the picturesque climatic health resort of Lauterbach. The route finally leads to Hornberg via Fohrenbühl. Here it is worth stopping off at one of our nature park inns. The home town of the famous "Hornberg shooting" is nestled in a beautiful landscape of mountains and valleys.
After Hornberg, your thighs are put to the test once again. There is one last long uphill section through the forest until we reach the top and cycle comfortably across pastures and meadows to Triberg. The destination of the tour is famous for the Triberg waterfalls, which are among the highest in Germany. Foaming and thundering, the water of the Gutach plunges 163 metres down into the valley in seven stages.
