The three-country exhibition
The Dreiländermuseum in Lörrach, which is subsidised by Interreg funds, is the only museum in Europe that is consistently dedicated to three countries: the three-country region between the German Black Forest, the French Vosges and the Swiss Jura.
Experience-orientated: the three-country exhibition
The permanent three-country exhibition offers background information about Baden, Alsace and north-west Switzerland in German and French. What do the people of the Upper Rhine have in common? How did the three countries come into being? How do the borders affect politics, the economy and everyday life?
Numerous interactive stations and audio plays offer entertaining entertainment for all generations in barrier-free rooms.
Significant collection: the basis for major special exhibitions
The Dreiländermuseum presents several large special exhibitions every year. Their themes are varied, often focussing on historical or current topics of the three-country region or regional art. They are based on the extensive collections, with around 50,000 objects in the museum depot. The museum's collection database also makes it possible to familiarise yourself with important objects online.
Events, guided tours and workshops
The Dreiländermuseum is a meeting place with a varied programme of events. For groups of all ages, there are individual guided tours and programmes in German and French.
