The trail accompanies you through the diverse and varied landscapes of Durbach and takes you to the most beautiful panoramic views of the Ortenau. The route is as varied as the landscape itself: sometimes gentle and peaceful, sometimes a little rougher and more challenging. Be curious and enjoy your own personal "Durbach view"!

Thanks to Durbach's unique location, the vantage points along the route rise up like terraces out of nature and reveal the diversity of the region to you: from the expansive Rhine plain with the Vosges mountains in its shadow, the far-reaching view of Durbach with its vineyards and the landmark Staufenberg Castle to the view of the highest point of the Black Forest National Park, the Hornisgrinde. In between, you will encounter gentle streams, secluded paths through light-flooded forests, lush orchards and, of course, the ever-changing and constantly surprising views of Baden's No. 1 wine village.
