Picturesque villages, rustic yet cozy taverns, a glass of Baden wine and a hearty Winzervesper - you could easily do without cycling... and yet you should, because the extraordinary scenery and views round off this culinary delight.
You can test the batteries of your e-bike right at the start as you make your way up to the mighty Yburg. Situated on the summit of the 515m high Yberg, it is a popular destination and the landmark of the region "Rebland" and the villages of Steinbach, Neuweier and Varnhalt. Above all, it offers a phenomenal panoramic view of the Black Forest and the Rhine valley. NOTE: Please note that the Yburg is temporarily closed. We recommend that you head straight for the sun-drenched vineyards.
If you find the climb to the Yburg too strenuous, you can skip this stop and head straight for the sun-drenched vineyards of the "Rebland". The views above Neuweier are particularly spectacular. Dense vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see and continue until you reach Malschbach, one of Baden-Baden's most rural districts.
Here, the vineyards are replaced by orchards and instead of wine, it's the "Obstler" (a spirit made from fruits) that makes you happy...
At the entrance to Geroldsau, it's time to move on to the water, as the shady detour to the thunderous Geroldsau Waterfall is a must. The Black Forest Scenic Route (“Schwarzwaldhochstraße”) takes you back to Baden-Baden along the River Oos, leaving plenty of time for a visit to the venerable Lichtenthal Monastery. It's then a gentle descent through Lichtentaler Allee and back to Baden-Baden Oos.

Combine your tour with a walk through the vineyards. The almond trees bloom here at the end of March, the fruit trees in April and the vines turn bright yellow and red in autumn.
