Autorentipp

In close proximity to the fairy tale route is the Bad Wildbad treetop walkway, offering a spectacular 360° view of the Black Forest from an extraordinary perspective. Besides the view, exciting stations for climbing, balancing, and learning as well as a 55m long tunnel slide await.
At the start of the fairy tale route is also the Abenteuerwald Sommerberg, a forest playground for the whole family.

If you walk along the fairy tale route, you can make a detour across the WILDLINE suspension bridge. Here you will experience 380 meters of pure adrenaline at 60 meters height.

Wegbeschreibung

The approximately 3 km long path leads through the forest on gravel paths without major inclines. The route takes about 1 hour.

Ausrüstung

Sturdy footwear is recommended. Passable with a normal stroller without any problems, but not suitable with a buggy.

Sicherheitshinweise

Glasmännle paths branch off at three points, are visible from the main path, but are unpaved and not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.

At nine stations, the radio play "The Cold Heart" by Wilhelm Hauff tells how the boy Peter Munk struggles for his happiness. Included are the Glasmännlein, the good forest spirit who grants him three wishes, and the Holländer Michel, a huge guy who wants to steal Peter’s heart.
