You can fish for trout and carp at the reservoir near the Bleibauernhof farm in Schönwald.
Guest fishing day tickets are issued at the tourist information centre. A valid annual fishing licence is required.
ATTENTION: The annual quota of fishing permits for 2024 has unfortunately already been used up! No more fishing permits can be issued for 2024.
Fishing season: May - September
Fishing is permitted with a fly fishing rod, spinning rod and peaceful fishing rod.
There is a strict ban on worms and maggots, including artificial ones.
The minimum size is 30cm for trout and 40cm for carp.
You are allowed to catch 3 trout and 1 carp per day.
At the end of the fishing session, the ticket must be placed in the letterbox at the town hall or handed in at the tourist information centre.
The area around the reservoir is used by the owner as an economic asset and for food production for farm animals. Therefore, please only stay close to the shore (max. 3 metres).
