The Freudenstadt Rose Trail is the highest rose trail in Germany and leads past over 1000 shrub roses and beautiful attractions.

The wild roses and the historic shrub roses were planted in 1985 by Dr Wolfgang Berger, then chairman of the Black Forest Rose Association. The path leads you over 2 kilometres past more than 1000 shrub roses. Be enchanted by the variety and beauty of the roses and enjoy the wonderful view over Freudenstadt and the Black Forest.
