Over about 2.6 kilometers, the trail leads down from Edelberg into the valley, offering around 136 meters of pure riding pleasure – short, intense, and perfect for several runs in a row.
The trail is part of a project for legal mountain biking around Karlsruhe and Ettlingen and was designed so that both beginners and advanced riders can get their money's worth. All obstacles are naturally built and basically rideable. Those looking for more challenge will find optional features and variants alongside the main line again and again – ideal for gradually improving technique and confidence step by step.
The start is near the wild boar enclosure and is easy to recognize by the large archway. At first, you roll over a flatter section before the trail really picks up speed and delights with flowing sections, small waves, and varied forest areas. Helmet is mandatory, protectors are recommended – safety first, so the fun lasts a long time.
