Genießerpfad - Gernsbacher Sagenweg (Premiumweg)

The signposted Gernsbach Legend Trail, which starts at the Klingel Chapel (Schlossstraße, Klingelstraße, about 1 kilometre in the direction of Obertsrot), connects 5 stations that are the subject of mysterious legends and leads around the Gernsberg. The route is uniformly signposted with the symbol of the little devil, can also be found on the normal hiking trail signposting and can therefore be followed without a map or local knowledge. There are signs at each point that tell you something about the origin and special features of the place.

The Gernsbach Legend Trail has been awarded the premium hiking trail seal of approval. Certification with the German Hiking Seal as a premium trail makes the quality of a hiking trail qualitatively measurable. This involves an assessment based on a very extensive catalogue of criteria, in which an analysis of strengths and weaknesses is carried out as precisely and objectively as possible.
