You will no doubt be familiar with the famous Bollenhut. It is an ambassador for the Black Forest all over the world. Gutach is the home of the Bollenhut, as the Bollenhut is only worn here and in two other communities. The Westweg leads over the heights of the western mountain ridges, a highlight of the Hausach-Wilhelmshöhe stage is the ascent to Gutach's local mountain, the Farrenkopf with the Hasemann Hut.

The tour can be divided into two stages. Option 1: Gutach village centre car park on the west side to the Alexandros restaurant in Rössle, from there take the bus back to the village centre. Option 2: Restaurant Alexandros im Rössle (bus and car park) on the eastern side via Steinades Bühl to Gutach.

Premium hiking trails are 6-15 km long "premium trails" that offer special culinary experiences. In addition to the unique landscape, the focus is on culture, Black Forest cuisine, Baden wines, brandies, beers or water. Each premium hiking trail fulfils the quality requirements of the German Hiking Institute for premium trails.
