The route runs continuously past various waters. Thus, not only in outdoor pools but also at lakes — especially in summer — you can take a short swim break from time to time and refresh yourself. With a length of about 50 km, it is manageable in one day and ideal to explore together with children. But not only the many bathing opportunities are highlights of the trip, the idyllic Black Forest landscape also entices with its natural spectacles.
The route runs continuously near water. Thus, especially in summer, you can take short breaks at one of the swimming lakes and refresh yourself in one of the outdoor pools. About 50 km long, the route can easily be done in one day and is ideal for a cycling route with children. The numerous swimming options are not the only highlights; the route also lets you discover the idyllic landscape of the Black Forest.

Wegbeschreibung
The route starts from Lauterbourg, past "Berg" and "Neuburg am Rhein," along the Hagenbach old Rhine branch, to Maximiliansau. At Maximiliansau, you cross the Rhine bridge and follow the signs towards Knielingen, passing the Knielingen lake. You bypass the Rhine port area and follow the Alb through Karlsruhe Weststadt to Ettlingen. Through Ettlingen, you then follow Herrenalber Straße towards Rheinstetten. You cross the so-called "Silberstreifen" and pass Epplesee. After leaving Rheinstetten behind, you finally reach Fermasee. From here, you cycle a short stretch on the Rhine cycle route (EV15) until you turn towards the Rhine at Neuburgweier and cross it again with the Baden-Pfalz ferry. Along the initial route, you then follow the PAMINA Lautertal cycle path back to Lauterbourg.

From there, take the Rhine cycle route (EV15) for a short distance until at the height of Neuburgweier, turn towards the Rhine. Use the "Baden-Pfalz" ferry to reach the other bank. Then follow the Lauter PAMINA cycle path back to Lauterbourg.
