Wegmarkierung

Directly at the historic train station and the bus station in Bad Wildbad begins the bwegt route hiking trail. In the Rennbachtal, lush greenery stretches as far as the eye can see. On your way, you will mainly be accompanied by birdsong and the rustling of trees. At the Schirmhütte, a great panoramic view opens up onto the Dobel before continuing into the Eyachtal and then the Dürreychtal.

An apparently endless path slowly leads you up the valley. Here you will hardly meet anyone and can enjoy the beauty of this area undisturbed. Towards the end, it becomes spectacular with breathtaking panoramic views into the Murgtal, the Rhine Plain, and as far as the Vosges and the Palatinate Forest. Along the path from the Teufelsmühle to Loffenau, there are great viewpoints!

All bwegt hiking routes are conveniently accessible by local and regional transport. Nationwide, the routes can be recognized by the “bwegt hiking route” seal. With a ticket in the bwtarif, you can get to the start and back: bwegt.de/bwtarif

Autorentipp

The refreshment spot at Teufelsmühle is only open on weekends, from Friday to Sunday (until 6 pm). Otherwise, please make sure to bring enough food and drinks!

Wegbeschreibung

The hiking route follows the diamond signage of the Black Forest Association. At the signpost locations there is always information about the route and the bwegt logo. The signposts lead you from one location to the next, from the start to the end of the hike.
