Grenzach-Wyhlen...Aussicht über Wyhlen: Känzele

Right at the start, the trail climbs quickly uphill on small paths - but the path offers many viewpoints, benches to rest on, cosy shade in summer and beautiful views through the trees into the valley in winter. The short detour "down" to Känzele is particularly worthwhile. 72 well-surfaced steps lead to the Känzele viewing platform, which offers a beautiful view over the Wyhlen meadows across the Rhine into Switzerland. At the Himmelpforte monastery, it is worth making a detour to Maria im Buchs, a pilgrimage church and pilgrimage route, before the path leads back or continues up to the Rührberg.
