Sonnenwald farm with overnight accommodation (also for large groups) and organic marketing for our neighbours and all connoisseurs of regional vegetables and honey.
A diverse organic market garden has been under construction in Schernbach since spring 2019. We attach particular importance to promoting local biodiversity and growing old, flavourful varieties.
Based on permaculture principles and techniques of bio-intensive vegetable cultivation, we cultivate our plants almost exclusively by hand. Each plant starts from seed and is followed through to harvest. A personal touch that is reflected in the quality. Vegetables can only be purchased if ordered in advance by email.

Haus Sonnenwald is also located on the farm grounds and can accommodate large and small groups. It is completely barrier-free on the ground floor. With a large group room and fully equipped kitchen, it can be used for parties, seminars, family celebrations or holidays together. There is a large garden around the house with a play and sunbathing area, fire pit and barbecue area, farm garden and indoor and outdoor table tennis tables.
Our house is the perfect starting point for swimming in the Nagold dam (10 minutes on foot), hiking, cross-country skiing and excursions. Pure nature on our sunny plateau in the middle of the Black Forest. Prices on request from 13 - 25 per night at haus-sonnenwald@posteo.de.
