What a starting point, what a destination: from picturesque Heidelberg via the exciting Black Forest to the no less beautiful Lake Constance, this cycle route takes you all the way through Baden-Württemberg, 300 kilometres from north to south.
The first metres in altitude have to be overcome on the second stage. From Bretten, the route climbs up to the gold town of Pforzheim. The route then continues upstream along the Nagold to Bad Liebenzell and past the Hirsau monastery, which is well worth seeing, to the gates of the Hermann Hesse town of Calw.
