Hornberger-Schießen-Weg

Experience how it may have happened in an entertaining way on the easy Hornberg Shooting Trail from the town centre up to Hornberg Castle. Along the way, play stations make the trail something special for children too, and there are also picnic facilities. The trail is also suitable for families with pushchairs. A great view of the town, the Black Forest railway viaduct and the Gutach Valley awaits you on the Schlossberg. There is also a multi-media presentation on the famous "Hornberg Shooting".

The 14 stations tell you interesting and amusing facts about the event in 1564, which made Hornberg famous far beyond its borders. The stations also provide you with interesting facts about the more than 900-year history of the town of Hornberg.
