A highlight of the park is a viewing tower that offers a comprehensive panoramic view of the city.
A rose garden is also part of the almost 9-hectare Hubenloch park. It is located around 750 metres above sea level, making it one of the highest public rose gardens in Europe. The roses are not treated with pesticides, so rose lovers can gain valuable insights into the resistance and vigour of the individual varieties.
Tip: A guided tour of the rose garden takes place every June when the roses are in bloom. Tickets are available from the tourist information centres in Villingen-Schwenningen.
