The Wasenweiler panoramic trail leads through picturesque old vineyards

Requirements: The trail leads along narrow paths in places. The ascent behind the Vitus Chapel is steep but only for a short stretch. Then you walk along the ridgeway from there it goes downhill through a picturesque, jungle-like hollow alley. The circular route is signposted.

Start from the Vituskapelle cemetery car park. From there, the trail leads along a narrow path into the old vineyards of Wasenweiler, parallel to the Little Owl Trail. A beautiful vantage point with a great view towards the Black Forest. A steep, narrow path leads downhill along a rainwater retention basin back to Wasenweiler. The path crosses the main road and then takes you along the cycle path towards Ihringen. It runs parallel to the main road and leads through beautiful orchards. After crossing the main road, you return to St Vitus Chapel.
