Kandelhöhenweg, 3. Etappe; Waldkirch - Höhenhäuser

This high-altitude hiking trail is named after the Kandel, the highest mountain in the central Black Forest at 1,241 metres above sea level. The Kandel-Höhenweg was created in 1935 and has been maintained by the Black Forest Association ever since. It is signposted with a red rhombus with a K on a white background. The Kandel-Höhenweg is divided into 5 daily stages, but can also be completed individually according to personal requirements. It can be started anywhere, as can the direction of travel.
