Visit Kehl and the Garden of Two Banks (Landesgartenschau 2004) with the unique cycle and pedestrian bridge "Passerelle des Deux Rives" over the Rhine. From the viewing platform, walkers can enjoy a view of Baden and Alsace. And the Kehl districts with their half-timbered houses and the scenic Hanauerland can be discovered on numerous themed cycle paths.
Folk festivals such as the Easter market (from Easter Saturday for a week) or the Kehl "Messdi" (from Ascension Day for four days) as well as events such as the "Kultursommer im Rosengarten" with a free programme on the open-air stage on the Old Rhine (every Saturday during the summer holidays) attract visitors from both sides of the Rhine.
