Start is at the Königshammer. The route leads along Talstraße to the Backhäusle. Along Michaelsweg, the path leads to Kindelsbrunnen.
The Kindlesbrunnen is the ideal place for a break with the family. The route continues along Michaelsweg to St Michael's Church. From there you have a beautiful view over Friedrichstal. A beautiful park with a pond right next to the church invites naturalists to explore. Our tip: take your explorer's waistcoat with you and observe the flora and fauna here.
Charcoal burning was another important craft in Baiersbronn and its neighbouring villages. Our tip here: take a detour to the charcoal burner's place. You can dig for coal here.
The path now leads down Kniebisweg to the Sophia mine. The Sophia mine is a special feature in the Valley of the Hammers. Ore was mined here for further processing.
There is a waterhole not far from the Sophia mine. This is the ideal place to put a raft into the water, just like in the old days. By the way: you can buy a raft kit at the Baiersbronn tourist information centre on Rosenplatz.
The fisherman's hut is right next to the watering hole. The rustic hut invites you to stop for a bite to eat
If you want to walk a little further, you can take a detour to Klopfplatz . The same path then leads back towards the fisherman's hut.
The path now leads back to the Kniebisweg/Wilhelm-Heusel-Straße junction. There is a lovely playground right next to the sports field. Here the children can really let off steam again before crossing the little bridge back to the Museum am Königshammer.
The pushchair tour - Friedrichstal is one of Anni's adventure tours in the Black Forest.
