The Krai-Woog-Gumpen, also known as the Glacier Mill, consists of two impressive stone basins that lie close together. With a diameter of around 2.70 metres, these basins are relics from the last ice age. Here, a mighty glacier has overcome a stone
over a stone bar, leaving behind these fascinating formations. As glacial water rotated under the ice, stones in the basin formed these unique, natural wonders over the course of time.
The highlight of the Krai-Woog-Gumpen is undoubtedly the small waterfall that pours majestically over the rocks. The sound of the clear water and the refreshing spray give this place a magical atmosphere that will leave you mesmerised. The deep blue pool at the foot of the waterfall invites you to dip your feet in or bravely "plunge" into the refreshing waters.
Visit this unique place in the Schwarzenbächletal valley and experience the beauty and tranquillity of nature in its purest form. To reach the Krai-Woog-Gumpen, follow the picturesque district road 6591, which winds its way through the idyllic Schwarzenbächletal valley.
A few hundred metres after the Gletschermühle mill, there is a car park on the left coming from the north, which is connected to the Krai-Woog-Gumpen by a newly created path.
