In Lenzkirch there are numerous hiking trails for tours and walks. In winter, 30 kilometers of cross-country ski trails are prepared, small ski lifts are open and hiking trails are maintained. The illuminated toboggan run from Saig to the famous Titisee is one of the longest toboggan runs in the Black Forest.
The surrounding peaks are called Saig - the district at 1,000 meters can also call itself a health resort - and the mountain Hochfirst, where there is an observation tower at 1192 meters above sea level, which rewards with a view over the Black Forest to the Alps after 126 steps up. Old, imposing Black Forest farms can be discovered in Kappel, a typical scattered settlement with lots of green between the houses. The Adventure Golf Park also offers a fun-filled day for the whole family. Hikers can explore the Haslach and Wutach gorges. Raitenbuch nestles on a hillside above the glacial Urseetal, surrounded by flowering alpine meadows. The Hochschwarzwälder Hirtenpfad trail leads across them. From here it is only a few minutes walk to the picturesque Windgfällweiher pond. Finally, on an open clearing lies the smallest of Lenzkirch's districts: Grünwald. From here, the view sweeps over the surrounding forests and valleys.
During the Lenzkirch Hiking Week in early summer, the most beautiful destinations in the Black Forest are explored on daily tours. Small festivals with music, singing and dancing are social highlights. A unique event is the Eulogi Ride in June, a colorful equestrian procession in honor of St. Eulogius, the patron saint of blacksmiths and horses. The solemn procession is surrounded by the colorful hustle and bustle of the market. Children's eyes light up at the Festival of Lights, when 14,000 candles illuminate the spa park.
