On this circular walk, you will learn all about the creation and maintenance of the hollow ways. Some of the most impressive loess hollow ways in the entire Kaiserstuhl region are grouped around Bickensohl. The Loess Hollow Path connects them on an attractive circular route of almost 7 kilometres. On 17 boards, you will find a wide range of information on the subject of loess, the formation and maintenance of the hollow paths, the regular communities in the loess walls and the terraced vineyards. Of course, the pure hiking experience should not be neglected either. That's why you won't find any information boards on some sections of this local theme trail, but you will find fascinating views and easy walking routes.
