At the entrance to the village, it is also worth taking a closer look at the Maile-Gießler mill, which the local Black Forest Association has renovated after three years of work to create a functioning gem for the climatic health resort. Right next to it is the Nordrach medicinal herb garden.

What would our authentic Black Forest valley be without the much-loved mill? The mill wheel still rattles along our valley stream and "master miller" Paul Boschert is happy to show how the grain is turned into flour, meal and bran.

Demonstration and tour from mid-April to mid-October every Wednesday from 7.00 - 8.00 pm (for groups by arrangement)
