Kulturelle Highlights

A short hike from the cathedral up to the ruins of Engelbourg Castle offers fantastic views of the medieval town of Thann and its setting in the Thur valley. Cross the river from Rue Saint Thiébaut and follow the signs to the right up to the 449 m high castle hill with the ruins of Engelbourg. Easy hike, ascent via steps, total length 2.5 km, 120 metres in altitude.
