The nature park cycle path takes you through the most beautiful corners of the northern and central Black Forest. You can expect impressive, varied landscapes, beautiful little towns and excellent gastronomy - the Black Forest as you would expect from a picture book. In the Kinzig valley, you will mainly encounter half-timbered houses from the rafting era, orchards and pastures. You start at an altitude of almost 800 metres and ride through one of the warmest Black Forest valleys until you reach Offenburg at the end of the route, which lies around 150 metres above sea level and is framed by the vineyards of the foothills. A few kilometres before you reach your destination, you will notice how the trees give way and more and more vines adorn the landscape.
There is a lot to discover, so plan your route according to your mood! Start by cycling around Germany's largest market square, visit the monastery brewery in Alpirsbach, follow in the footsteps of the raftsmen in the museums in Schiltach, Wolfach and Gengenbach and enjoy regional products from the nature park in the market barn in Berghaupten.
The Nature Park Cycle Trail is also suitable for e-bikers: you will find e-bike charging stations along the entire route where you can recharge your pedelec battery free of charge.
