The nature park cycle path takes you through the most beautiful corners of the northern and central Black Forest. You can expect impressive, varied landscapes, beautiful little towns and excellent gastronomy - the Black Forest as you would expect from a picture book. The fourth stage is available in two versions, one over the Sommerberg and one through the Enz valley. On the variant over the Sommerberg, you will get to know Germany's oldest funicular railway and continue at a leisurely pace over the Black Forest heights back to the starting point of the nature park cycle path in Freudenstadt.
There is a lot to discover, so plan your route according to your mood! On the Sommerberg, you can enjoy the view over the Enz valley once again at the Naturpark-AugenBlick in the mountain station. Right next door is the Black Forest treetop walk, where you can hike over 20 metres above the ground and discover nature at eye level. A thousand-year-old moor awaits you in the nature reserve, which you can learn more about in the information centre - it's well worth a detour! On the Kaiser Wilhelm Tower on the Hohloh, you can also enjoy views of the Rhine plain all the way to France. The nature park cycle path is also suitable for e-bikers: you will find e-bike charging stations along the entire route where you can recharge your pedelec battery free of charge.
