This tour follows the route of the Culinary Wine Hike. It leads through Oberkirch's beautiful old town centre with its stream and church square via the vineyards to the Schauenburg castle ruins. The descent back to Oberkirch is via the suburb of Gaisbach with St George's Chapel and Gaisbach Castle back to the pedestrian zone of Oberkirch.

At the beginning, you will receive a wine hiking pass containing coupons for the respective courses and wines. Along the 7-kilometre walk through Oberkirch's beautiful vineyards, you will pass four stations where you can enjoy a seasonal course with the corresponding wine. The hike is signposted and along the way you will learn lots of interesting facts about Oberkirch wines.

Hotel-Restaurant "Bahnhof Oberkirch": Fish dish & wine from Oberkircher Winzer eG
