The history of Offenburg has always been closely linked to wine. At various stations, a wine expert and a city guide provide interesting facts about the wines presented and the history of Offenburg. The tour is accompanied by fine wines from Offenburg's wineries.
Offenburg is one of the largest wine-growing communities in Baden-Württemberg with renowned wineries such as the winegrowers' cooperatives in the vineyard districts of Fessenbach, Rammersweier and Zell-Weierbach, the Pieper Basler, von und zu Franckenstein and Renner wineries, the Ortenauer Weinkellerei of Edeka and the Schloss Ortenberg winery at St. Andreas.
Guided tours open to the public every month from May to October. Bookings for groups are possible.
