Today you hike up to the Black Forest High Road. Here you can make a detour to the legendary Mummelsee lake, situated at the foot of the Hornisgrinde, the highest mountain in the northern Black Forest. From up here you have a unique view of the mighty Rhine, Strasbourg and the Vosges. The "Westweg" trail leads to the Seekopf with its beautiful view of the Wildsee lake and on to the Ruhestein mountain. Past the the National Park Centre, walk along the geological path towards Obertal. Past a small romantic waterfall, a wooden bridge and a wildflower meadow you arrive at the "Waldhotel Sommerberg" where you are already expected!
