Along the varied circular hiking trail around the village of Prechtal, a tranquil part of the town of Elzach, there are numerous educational experience stations to explore, e.g. a sensory station set up by the Prechtal rural youth organisation as part of the 72-hour campaign. There are also marvellous views of the valley, lush meadows and wooded mountain slopes, which make you want to consciously enjoy and perceive our nature.
The "Prechtal Bee Trail" project was supported by the Southern Black Forest Nature Park with funds from the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Glücksspirale lottery.
The bee houses
On the way you will come across two beehives. There you can observe how countless bees fly in and out to bring in their hives.
With all your senses
Well-trained senses are an important prerequisite for enjoyment. The sensory station is in a marvellous location on the Bergle, with a view over the valley. It invites hikers to get to know the environment and nature better through touch and feel.
