Dowsing is a fascinating art that has sparked curiosity and amazement for centuries. In the idyllic Kurpark Waldbronn, you will find a significant dowsing rod educational trail that brings this special subject to life. Along several stations, you will learn exciting facts about earth rays, water veins, and their possible effects on humans and nature.

The comfort hike takes you out into a landscape of wide, blooming meadows and gentle orchards. Especially in spring and summer, a colorful backdrop unfolds here, while the view often stretches far across fields and hills.

Along the forest edge, you hike through the open cultural landscape towards Karlsbad. The destination is the mysterious ruin of the St. Barbara Chapel, around which many legends revolve. The tower of the ruin offers a wonderful panoramic view over the treetops and roofs of Karlsbad to the Pfinztal – through light forest it goes back towards the Waldbronn Kurpark, our starting point.

A possible starting point for the circular tour is the Kurpark Waldbronn. Through the idyllic park, which in addition to the dowsing rod educational trail also offers a beautiful lake, bird educational trail, mini-golf course, a great playground, and an herb garden, you follow the hiking trail over the Kurpark bridge to the town center. At Reichenbach station, you must cross the street and then the tracks at the pedestrian traffic light. Shortly afterwards, first turn right into the "Neubrunnenschlag," then left into St. Barbara Street and hike via Merkurstraße out of the village to the edge of the forest. Along the small animal breeding facility, meadows, sports field, and shrub educational trail, the path continues to the stop "Langensteinbach-St. Barbara." Follow the hiking trail to the Bethanien Bible Home and quickly reach the St. Barbara ruin, a magical place! Climbing the tower is rewarded with a great panoramic view. The path continues over the AVG bridge with beautiful views of the gentle landscape along the forest edge. At the wooden pavilion, the tour veers slightly left into the forest. At the next but one junction, follow the path left to the Odenwiesen rest and barbecue area. It is not far from there to the starting point, the Kurpark.
